My Review of Tales by 10 Now on Goodreads

Tales by 10Tales by 10 by Peter Cruikshank
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Tales of Ten gave me a refreshing glimpse into the lives, loves, and sorrows of a group of talented writers in this anthology of poetry, fantasy, and carefully crafted short stories. I bobbed and weaved while reading Pete Peterson’s excellent short story “Winner Take All”, a tale that transcends the confines of the boxing ring and becomes a guide for survival in an era gone by. Michele Ivy Davis gifts us with a poem about the tender moments she shared with her young son in “In His Second Year” while Maryls Collom exposes the soft underbelly of nightlife in San Diego in her story “Card Room Dealer.”Other contributors include Judy Opdycke, Charlie Wyatt, R. Boyd Palmer, Gerry Strong, J. E. Michals, Peter Cruikshank, and Elisa Blaisdell. Ten writers share pieces of their lives and readers can find a piece of themselves within each eclectic tale.
