The annual Vampire Preservation Society meeting was the most anticipated event of the year. Members from around the world converged at a chosen location to celebrate, socialize, and conduct seminars on survival and ritual techniques. The 2015 meeting was being held in Gloucester, Massachusetts, a small fishing village hugging the coast of New England. The proximity to Salem, home of the infamous Salem witches, played a role in providing a safe environment for immortals who wanted to explore the area in an inconspicuous manner. Individuality and metaphysics were the norm in the tiny town and eccentricities were encouraged and welcomed by all.
